My Story

I grew up in a christian home and the Lord redeemed me at the age of 8. I married my best friend in 2008. Even when Gordon and I were engaged we knew we wanted to be missionaries. However, it wasn't until we had the opportunity to serve in 2009 for three months in Japan that we knew that's where the Lord wanted us to be. We came home, changed our college degrees and focussed on getting back to Japan.

Family:

Gordon

Ministry Focus:

Tokyo Metro Ministry Initiative

We're excited to be a part of TMMI. Our desire is to really embed ourselves in the community. By being creative and ground-breaking in our ministry, we want to actively reach out and pursue relationships in order to open doors for the gospel.

Gordon and I are also looking forward to serving in the SonRise Cafe in downtown Tokyo. This cafe has a lively atmosphere 6 days a week with music, paintings, sculptures, and of course - great food and coffee. The cafe also hosts SonRise Church on Sunday Mornings where we hope to begin helping with the worship music.

The People:

Japan is the 2nd largest unreached people group in the world. Out of 127 million souls, less than 0.5% are Christians. 30,000 people die each year of despair. There are approximately 600 suicides per week. While Japan is well developed, they are spiritually impoverished and in desperate need of The Way, The Truth, and The Life.

Primary Prayer Request:

Pay for Gordon and I as we raise support.

Pray for our transition to Japan as we start to down size.

Pray for the hearts of the people in Japan and that they would see their need for a savior.
