Patrick Gray

My Story

My name is Patrick Gray and recently my wife and I decided that the Lord was leading us to do missions in Thailand. I was born in Lafayette, Indiana and have lived there most of my life. However, there are two notable exceptions to this. The first when I attended Taylor University in Upland, Indiana and the second a seven month missions opportunity in Bangkok, Thailand. I studied art in college because I have had a long time love for the visual arts. In Thailand I had the great privilege of helping with ministry needs in a Bangkok church. I taught English in churches as well as in a prison giving me and the missionaries I was working with the opportunity to expose our students to Jesus Christ. In addition, I was given the opportunity to assist in clean up efforts after the flood that submerged half of the city of Bangkok in 2011. During this time in Thailand I met the girl I later married in the Fall of 2013. Since the time we were married we have very prayerfully been asking God where we would go next. We believe that He is sending us back to Thailand to find new and creative ways to reach the most unreceptive country to the Gospel in South East Asia. My wife and I plan to move to the Northwest city of Chiang Mai where we will be joining a team of missionaries who do outreach activities through a creative art center. We are very excited to see how God will be using us and our gifts to reach the Thai people.
