Emily Branch

My Story

Emily grew up in Cordova, Alaska running through the forests, swimming in glacial-fed lakes, and adventuring with friends and family. For her final two years of high school Emily moved to Coeur d'Alene, Idaho with her family and then proceeded to attend college in Tacoma, Washington at Pacific Lutheran University (PLU). Emily graduated with a bachelors degree in outreach education and the arts in May of 2014. During her years at PLU, Emily was involved in leadership with a ministry group and was able to go to Haiti twice. It was during these trips that Emily's heart for missions was birthed and she returned for a three-month period to help with education efforts in Port-au-Prince. After graduation, Emily worked with Youth Missions International in Seattle, Washington which gave her great perspective and experience in mobilization, training, debriefing, and international communication. Emily started with TEAM in July of 2015 and continues to enjoy the work of mobilization in the Pacific Northwest.
