I grew up in Mississippi, and I went to Mississippi State University. I became a believer in the Spring of 2009 through the faithfulness of some mentors that are still very dear to me. They showed me what the gospel was for the first time in the Bible. Through a vision trip to Salerno, Italy I was called to ministry in Italy in 2009 while in the Roman Forum where I read 2 Timothy in the Mamertime prison where Paul most likely wrote to Timothy. When I read 2 Timothy 2:2, I realized that I was standing in that very spot because many men and women had obeyed the call to make disciples throughout the centuries. This inspired me to want to obey Christ and make disciples in the context of gospel-centered local churches.
My focus is making disciples who make other disciples in the context of gospel-centered local churches. I do that especially by evangelizing students at the university of Bologna and plugging them into a small group Bible study so they can eventually be baptized into the local church.
Primary Prayer Request:
Please pray Acts 26:18 and 2 Corinthians 4:6 for Italian students, that their eyes would be opened to the glory of Christ, and that they would believe the gospel and not trust in their own righteousness or their own self-dependence.
