My Story

I grew up in Chattanooga in a Christian home. I went to college in Nashville, TN at Trevecca, and I got a degree in Science with a focus in Chemistry. My wife and I first seriously considered getting into missions after becoming members of our missions minded church, The Church at Antioch, and the Lord has continually called us to serve him since then.

Ministry Focus:

We will be serving in Takamatsu, in the Kagawa prefecture of Japan. We will be doing ministry in every way we can, but some specific ministry opportunities will be coming in the form of music, working with a college group, and teaching english classes. We have a heart to show hospitality and find ways to get the Japanese into our home to share life with them.

The People:

Japan consistently rates as one of the most depressed nations in the world, with one of the highest suicide rates. Ashlee and I have a passion for sharing the hope of the gospel with people who have no hope. We love sharing the purpose that God has given us, His people, to people who think life has no purpose.

Primary Prayer Request:

Right now please pray that Ashlee and I are able to receive funding to get to Japan by April 2017. It will take the work of God to make this possible, but we fully trust that he can do all things. The ministry in Takamatsu has asked that we try to be there by April many times, as the ministry that they have already begun there will begin to suffer if they remain short staffed.
