My Story

I was born in Oklahoma City, OK to a Mexican mother and Puerto Rican father. We lived across the street from the Catholic church I spent all my younger years attending. It would be years before realizing the profound impact that Sister Ursula Schones had on my life during that time. She invited me to attend a weekly bible study where I was exposed to community through Christian fellowship, worship and spirit-filled prayer. I had no idea what it all meant, however, what I did know is that I was drawn and wanted to be part of it. In 1980, I surrendered my life to Christ and began a life-long journey that has led me to where I am today in my role with TEAM.

The majority of my career has been spent working with nonprofit, mission driven organizations. I have had the privilege of working with great leaders who have helped to shape and mold me for a future that I could not imagine or know I even wanted. That future for me is advancing the gospel through TEAM. I have the distinct honor of thanking donors, casting the vision of TEAM, connecting them with their passion for global missions and assisting them in stewarding their resources for the kingdom.

I am excited and thankful to be part of God’s plan to #GoBe so all may know.
