Title:

Missionary: Onboarding Coordinator

Family:

Dan, Jonathan, David, & Peter

Ministry Focus:

I will begin my new role as the Onboarding Coordinator for TEAM Japan in July, 2016 when we return from Home Assignment. In this position, I will be working with TEAM's Mobilization department in the review and placement of Japan applicants. Once appointed, I will walk alongside our appointees through the months preceding their arrival in Japan until their return to the US at the end of their first term. I am looking forward to supporting them in various ways as they strive to become effective missionaries.

The People:

We find that the best way to reach the Japanese people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ is in the building and development of relationships. Toward that end, TEAM Japan desires to increase their missionary numbers as well as make those who do come as effective as possible in reaching out to their neighbors.TEAM Japan appointees and first term missionaries face a number of challenges and transitions in their lives as they leave their familiar home country and start a new life in Japan as missionaries. It is with these new missionaries that I will be working.

Primary Prayer Request:

Pray that I would listen to God's wisdom and guidance as I begin this new role, following His leading as I establish goals and methods of implementation as well as develop relationships with our appointees.
