The Nielsen have been in Japan since 1990 and finished a church plant in Nagoya area. Eileen finished her Master’s Degree in counseling in 2003. After the tsunami hit Japan in 2011, the Nielsens began doing relief work and ran a volunteer base camp in Iwate for two and a half years. Presently, the Nielsens are planning to return to Iwate in August 2014 to start a Survivor Care Center and church plant.
Since 2003, Eileen has had a counseling ministry as well as being TEAM Japan’s Member Care Facilitator.
