I accepted Jesus at the age of 11 at a church camp. While living in Hillsboro, Ohio in 1989, God sent missionaries Ralph and Stella Cox to our church. I will never forget the 5 minute talk given by Ralph, telling of the great need for the gospel in Japan, or the brochure they gave us recruiting workers to help plant 100 churches by the year 2000. We spent 2 years as short-term missionaries with the Cox`s in Hiroshima. God called us back to Japan full-time and we have now been in Japan for 17 years. I am honored, privileged and humbled to be used, even just a little, by Jesus in this wonderful, but needy country.

That SonRise Cafe would become a self-sustaining, God-glorifying place of business and that SonRise Church would grow with Japanese leadership at the helm.
