Are gifts tax deductible? Will I get a receipt?
TEAM is a tax exempt nonprofit organization under 501(c)(3) of the IRS Code; we are qualified to receive tax deductible donations and all donations to us are tax deductible. A tax-deductible receipt is issued by TEAM at the end of each calendar year for the total amount of the annual donation made by each donor.

What if I don’t want receipts and just want an annual statement?
Contact TEAM’s Stewardship Department by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or toll free at (800) 343-3144, and and we will arrange to stop automatic receipts and just send a statement around the end of January for tax preparation.
Giving Stock FAQs
How do I give shares of stock to TEAM?
If you would like to make a donation to TEAM through giving through your stock, please contact TEAM’s Stewardship Department at (800) 343-3144 and ask for the Stewardship Department, or send us an email at email@example.com. Please give us your name, stock information and donor ID (if you have one) as well as the designation of the gift so that your stock contribution can be processed correctly.
Can I send my paper stock certificates?
Yes, but it can be more complicated as there are documents necessary to process and sell the stock. Just mail the stock power separately from the actual Stock certificate and include tracking numbers for your protection and document security. It is best to call and speak with our Stewardship Department before sending the documents to TEAM.
Giving Online FAQs
Can I manage my own credit card giving online?
Yes; once you have made an online donation through TEAM’s giving page, a username and password are sent via email. To login and access your profile, please click here. Once you login you can make any of the necessary changes.
Are there any fees when I give by credit card?
Yes, the credit card company takes 3.2% of every credit card contribution.
Is there any difference between using my credit card and my debit card?
No, both ways of giving have the same fee. To give online without any fees, you can choose the electronic check option on our online giving form or choose to set up an online bill pay through your bank.
I would like a change to my credit card contribution – how do I do that?
If you have set up a user account, simply log in to view and edit your contribution. If you do not have an account, please call the Stewardship Department at (800) 343-3144 and we would be happy to make your changes for you over the phone.
I can’t find my missionary’s name listed – how do I make sure my gift gets to them?
Some of our missionaries work in sensitive areas of the world, so their full names are not listed. Instead, they are listed by the first initial of their last name, followed by their account number (i.e. A, 001234). If you still can’t find them, please select “Can’t find what you are looking for?” and enter their names in the field provided.
