Purpose Statement of ACGHS
To provide a Christian education in a Christ-centered enviornment with the aim that each girl graduates with both a Godly character and her matriculation certificate.
Report from 2014 school year
ACGHS began the 2015 school year with 256 students (95 in boarding & 161 day-scholars). All 8 of the 9th & 10th grade students who failed the Math and Physics exams retook them and passed.
Thirty-five 7-10th grade students accepted Christ at Camp in May. Kid’s camp was held at ACGHS on 27 May. Alumni Boys camp was held 31 Jul to 2 Aug where 12 boys accepted Christ. A teacher & matron staff retreat was held in July. Dental team from BCH saw all the students with 150 having some treatment. A government immunization team supplied polio drops & measles vaccination to all the children.

Opportunities for Service
We are looking for those willing to teach English (both to students and to upgrade teachers) as well as improvement in Math & Science teaching. We also need someone to do training in the finance department and someone willing to manage the Student Sponsorship program to aid poor students.
Needs in the year ahead
1. Video projector & Sound system (funding approved)
2. Permission and funding for second story extension of the existing school building (funding pending)
3. Completion of security demands of the government for wall height, razor wire, security cameras and gate barriers (funding obtained from donor)
