The Beheimgasse Baptist Church aspires to be a fellowship where real life with God is discovered, deepened and passed on.
Individuals and families from a wide radius around the northwestern section of Austria’s capital are finding their spiritual home in the Beheimgasse church. Since its beginnings in the early 90’s, the church has been equipping believers and creatively reaching out to others with the good news of Christ.
Existing for Others
Resources and ministry experience within the Beheimgasse church are being shared with other churches in areas including culturally relevant church planting, children’s ministry, premarital and marital counseling, using English as an outreach tool, diaconal ministry, and support for the growing Austrian missionary movement. The ministry center provides facilities for others within the wider Christian community involved in theological education, evangelism, and youth and university student ministry.
Deeper and Wider
Making disciples who in turn make more disciples is the focus of efforts to lead the church to fuller maturity and multiplication. In cooperation with other churches, municipal authorities, and not-for-profit social service organizations, the Beheimgasse church is seeking to impact the wider culture as part of a forward movement of the kingdom of God. Significant leadership and support are being given to a growing mercy ministry that is confronting a dire social justice issue.
