Camp Mubarak

“A Place where People find Purpose to Life through God’s Word”

Description of Camp Goals/Purpose

Established in the 1960’s, Camp Mubarak provides a safe and  welcoming place of natural beauty for campers to relax in and to enjoy their times of worship, Bible study, training, prayer, fellowship and fun activities. Campers come from all over Pakistan and include student groups, families, ladies, Pastors and leaders, and young people.

Opportunities to Serve

Camp Mubarak is happy to take short-term volunteers (1 week to 3 months) who would like to come to help in service roles such as food preparation, room setup, cleaning; to provide a practical skill such as masonry, carpentry, or electrical; or to provide children’s programs. For enquiries contact the Camp Executive Director (CampMubarak@gmail.com)

Message from the Director     February 16, 2015

Greetings from Camp Mubarak!!!

We thank God for the year 2014 which was full of Blessings, for us as a family and the Camp. We were able to host 46 camps with 2556 participants. Many other guests and visitors also stayed at camp for language, holiday and visitation. We have been hearing that throughout the year people received spiritual blessings and felt God’s presence.

At the end of 2014 we had several Christmas events and one of the highlights was the annual Christmas Service for the community at Camp Mubarak campus. The event started with tea and fellowship around the fire with MCS band singing carols in the background. The service was followed by dinner around the fire again.

We have a full Camp Schedule for the year 2015 which has started well and people are enthusiastic for coming to Camp. The winter camps are underway and even though we have not had a lot of snow the campers have enjoyed playing in the small snow falls.

Let us also pray for our country Pakistan where things sometimes can discourage us.  We live in uncertainty and have to keep adjusting our plans according to the changing circumstances. Please pray for protection and safety this year.

We are still praying and looking for funds to renovate the jungle cabins to be able to provide better lodging facilities to our campers.

In His Service

Apphia S. Malik
