About:
CAJ was founded by missionaries who wanted to provide a quality, Christian education for their children. God has graciously blessed the school with visionary leaders, qualified staff and a very supportive community. Their vision for education is to equip students for a life of loving, obedient response to God and of care for and restoration of His creation. Through education, students are equipped to discover God’s grace and truth, to embrace their identity as human beings created in His image and for His glory, and to develop their God-given potential.
The school is operated by a board of directors comprised of representatives from six mission organizations. TEAM is one of these mission organizations. Children representing more than 25 missionary organizations currently attend the school.
Today the school continues a working partnership with missionaries and thus plays a critical role in the missionary effort in the country of Japan.
In addition, through the office of School Support Services, the school provides valuable help to those missionaries who:
- Wish to home-school their children
- Have their children enrolled in a Japanese school and wish to supplement this with Bible and/or other curricula
- Would like to receive counsel on the best approach for education for their child(ren)
