This initiative hopes to see more churches missionally engaged, with leaders equipped to lead their churches on mission. There is a bit of a play on words – we want to see more churches. These would be missionally engaged from the start. But we would also want to see more churches that are trained and actively engaged in mission.
Iglesia Reforma seeks to make, mature, and multiply gospel-centered disciples, who grow in holiness, transform their society, and take the gospel to every corner of Guatemala City for the glory of God. Its mission is to develop a culture of missional communities transformed by the gospel, who move upwards in worship, inwards in community, and outwards on mission. For more information, please view the Iglesia Reforma Video. For Spanish speakers, check out the website, www.iglesiareforma.org.
SOMOS exists to educate, equip, and mobilize local churches in Guatemala to care for the orphan. With the message of the Gospel at the center of everything we do, SOMOS provides training and side-by-side mentorship to help churches create orphan care ministries within their local congregations.

We are serving in Bethania in order to create strong, gospel-centered families that in turn will create a strong, gospel-centered community. One of the greatest needs in the community of Bethania is education. We are starting a community center that provides an after-school program that focuses not just on grades and educational learning but on character development and mentorship. Through this program, we can provide workshops, resources, and assistance for the parents as well.
