Church Planting (Cebu Province)

We have a great opportunity to reach rapidly growing towns and cities on the Island of Cebu, planting key churches that will become centers for evangelism and discipleship for years to come. These towns and cities are some of the least evangelized in the Philippines, having less than 1-2% evangelical Christians.

You will be primarily working with professional people who will have a working use of English. At the same time you will be expected to go through a Cebuano language course which will help you understand and connect with the personal lives of the people.

TEAM missionaries, David and Kathy North, have been planting churches in the cities of the Philippines for many years and will be leading this initiative, mentoring and coaching multinational teams of Westerners and Filipinos. Come and work alongside these missionaries and learn from them how to connect, win, disciple, and train … and how to start and lead small groups for evangelism and discipleship. Discover how your gifts can be used to plant a church. Be a part of seeing a movement begin for Christ in a new, dark place.

Skills Needed:

Many gifts are needed to be effective in church planting. As a church planting movement, people with the ministry types listed and other gifts can be used on a greater basis than just in one church plant. Each one’s contribution can enhance the whole movement. We need people who have interests and skills in many different areas including evangelism, discipleship, training, preaching and teaching, publications, music, graphics, children, youth, and more.
