Evangelical Christian Academy (ECA)

As a school that began in 1973 to meet the educational needs of MKs, ECA now also offers international and Spanish families a quality Christian education in grades 1-12. Yet the majority of our students are MKs; their parents may be evangelists, church workers, seminary teachers, or field leaders in this country where less than 1% of the population actually knows Christ as their personal Savior and Lord. Our teachers raise their own financial support so as to keep tuition rates down.
We are looking for teachers, administrators, office staff and dorm parents for this school with ninety 1st-12th graders. We don’t just teach. We want our students to see the reality of Christ in our lives as we love, serve and instruct them. Our mission as a school is “to equip students in the academic disciplines, challenging them to love God, apply His truth, and care for others.” Accredited by ACSI (Association of Christian Schools International), ECA offers a challenging, college-prep curriculum in an American-based system.
We desire that all of our teachers have current teaching certificates in their field. Normally, we also require that all teachers have had two years of successful teaching experience before coming to Spain, but this requirement may be waived, based upon strong student teaching/personal references and previous cross-cultural experience.
