FFJ is an interdenominational non-profit organization that teaches family themes, bringing an understanding of the family and the home from a Biblical perspective. Through such teaching, the Gospel of Jesus Christ can be shared in Japan. FFJ produces and publishes printed and audio-visual resources, conducts seminars, and provides radio broadcasts, all centered on such themes as marriage, parenting, and abstinence education.
FFJ was founded as Family Focus Japan in 1996 by TEAM missionary, Tim Cole, in association with the Focus on the Family, USA. In 2006, that association ended and the name was changed to Family Forum Japan(FFJ). In 2012, FFJ became independent of TEAM and is now under Japanese leadership.
