Iglesia Reforma Church Plant

Vision
Iglesia Reforma seeks to make, mature, and multiply gospel-centered disciples, who grow in holiness, transform their society, and take the gospel to every corner of Guatemala City for the glory of God.
Mission
Develop a culture of missional communities transformed by the gospel, who move upwards in worship, inwards in community, and outwards on mission.

Values
1. PEOPLE, NOT PROGRAMS
We value people over programs. We always want our programs to serve our people, and not our people to serve the programs.
2. DISCIPLESHIP, NOT PRODUCTION
The central event of Iglesia Reforma is daily making disciples, not the production of our Sunday gathering. We are not an event to attend, we are a community to belong to.
3. TEAMS, NOT PERSONALITIES
Jesus is our senior pastor, and after him comes our elder board. The only person upon which we want to build Iglesia Reforma is Jesus Christ.
4. GOSPEL-PLANTING, NOT JUST CONGREGATING
The church isn’t planted, it is harvested. The gospel is planted. We want to harvest new believers in Jesus Christ through gospel-planting and gospel-transformation, not just form another congregation in Guatemala that gets together weekly.
5. SCATTERED, NOT GATHERED
We recognize that the Christian life must continues Monday to Saturday. We want to train Monday to Saturday Christians.
6. GREAT COMMISSION, NOT GREAT OPTION
Making disciples is our central heart beat, because it is the mission that Jesus gave to every believer.
7. TRANSPARENT, NOT RESERVED
Everything that we do will be done with transparency.
8. CHRISTIAN FREEDOM, NOT LICENSE
We don’t want to put another law on top of Christians, rather we want our decisions to be governed by the love and grace of our Lord Jesus.
9. DIVERSE, NOT UNIFORM
When the gospel is present in a community, it will attract people from distinct backgrounds, cultures, and demographics. It is our desire to always represent to our community the kind of diversity that only the gospel produces.
