Leadership Development

When Jesus set out to change the course of the world, he did not found an organization or set up a corporation.  He trained people who would become leaders.  The need today is just as great.  We have the opportunity to be involved in training leaders for the Australian church as it seeks to reach the country as well as the world.

Vision:

Our vision is to actively recruit and train leaders for those faith communities charged with evangelizing Adelaide and sending out other godly leaders.

Strategy:

We have a structured avenue for formal leadership training through the Adelaide College of Ministries, which offers accredited diplomas, associate degrees and bachelors degrees.  Coming soon will also be a masters degree program.  Ministry streams are available in six areas:  Exegetical (original languages), Leadership, Youth Ministry, Women’s Ministry, Mission and Church Planting.  Numerous supervised internships are also available in many areas.

There are numerous less formal possibilities for leadership development through ministry in local churches.  Several partner churches already have structured internship opportunties and more are looking to begin the process.  There are even para-church opportunities through camps and conferences.  Many of the leaders for the next generation have not even begun to be discipled.  Can you make a disciple?
