PBA is a radio and TV ministry which produces programs for adults, youth, and the blind for the local churches of Japan to use in their evangelistic outreach. Bible correspondence courses, message cassette tapes, tracts and materials for the blind are available. As of 2012, church groups around the country were using PBA’s programming on about half of Japan’s AM/FM radio stations, and 13 TV stations.
PBA was established in 1951 as a joint project of TEAM, FEGC (now SEND Intl.) and CBFMS (now WorldVenture). TEAM missionaries Bernard Holritz and Arthur Seely were involved long-term with the ministry. In 1960, PBA was incorporated, independent of TEAM.
