TEAM France missionaries use teaching English (one-on-one tutor or in a group setting) as a bridge to evangelistic and discipling relationships.

Pontcharra (Alps) – Gospel choir
Many people in France are interested in learning English. It is an early, required subject in French schools, yet few French people master the language without further study or immersion experience.
Being native English speakers, TEAM missionaries are often presented the opportunity to teach English in a classroom setting or tutor others on an individual basis.
Through teaching English, there are many bridges to evangelism and discipleship. This can happen through friendships, through English-themed events (especially Thanksgiving) or even musically, through gospel music (which is very popular in France).
