Bible College Teacher/Discipler

Opportunity in Southern Africa

Description

Are you an experienced pastor or Bible teacher with a desire to serve Christ by developing Christian leaders in the majority world?

Vibrant Christian leaders who exhibit godly wisdom and Christ-like character have the potential to change families, communities and the world. Your ministry experience and maturity will give you credibility as you teach and mentor leaders in the South African context. You could teach part-time in a formal Bible college setting or in an informal Bible school for amaZioni leaders, and then follow-up on contacts to develop mentoring relationships with those who were interested. You would have the opportunity to organize workshops and develop relationships with church leaders outside of the Bible college setting as well. Initiative, flexibility, cultural sensitivity and learner’s attitude are needed to be effective in this ministry.

Requirements

Willingness to do language and culture learning.
Masters in Theology or equivalent.
Preferably 5-10 years of pastoral experience.
