Cafe Worker (Tokyo, SRTMI)

Opportunity in Japan

Be a part of starting a new church by using innovative methods to build bridges to the gospel in an unreached area of downtown Tokyo.

Employee duties at SonRise Café including food preparation, making of orders, cleaning & maintenance of the café. As one’s Japanese language progressed, there would be interaction and serving of customers.

Servant-heart.  Some kitchen/barista experience helpful.  Good customer service.

No previous Japanese language is required (although always welcomed).  Studying and the use of Japanese would be an expected part of ministry for mid-termers.  We would ask that Japanese study begin several months before arriving in Japan.  We would help potential candidates with this.  Ten hours of Japanese study a week would be part of their weekly schedule after arrival.
