Cattle Ranch Manager

Opportunity in Southeast Asia

Description

The Cattle Ranch Manager will use agriculture as a platform to share the Good News in Southeast Asia. This can be done through teaching animal husbandry, nutrition, and herd and pasture management in local villages while developing gospel-centered relationships. This Ranch is intended to be a “live” classroom for teaching and instruction of cattle management practices and procedures. It creates much-needed jobs for locals and supports ongoing ministry in the area, including discipleship ministries, theological education, and more.

The Manager will have ample opportunities to share the Gospel and train up new believers in Christ. This will happen through activities at the cattle ranch, working with coffee and orange trees, organic crops, and aquaponics. The Ranch generates funds to be used for several different ministry efforts among the local people. These include programs reaching women, children, and teens in small villages and discipling and training college students who are being trained as pastors and teachers in Muslim communities. The duration of this role ranges from a minimum of 1 year to 3 years or more.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or extensive documented agricultural management experience
  • Substantial proven experience in ranch and farm management, animal management
