Children's Ministry/Worker/Trainer

Opportunity in Southern Africa

Description

Do you have experience in children’s ministry and the heart to mentor others?

Children’s ministry in neighborhoods, schools and churches is an open door in South Africa. Training for children’s workers is available, but it is easy to lose momentum once the training is over. As a trainer and mentor you would help keep the vision alive and ensure people are putting into practice what they have learned. You would have opportunities for ministry in school assemblies and life skills classes as well. You would need to have initiative to organize workshops and follow-up with trainees, as well as a learner’s attitude and flexibility to adapt to the South African context.

Requirements

  • Willingness to do language and culture learning
  • Adequate Bible training
  • Training and experience in children’s ministry
  • A love for children
  • Good communicator/relational skills, willing to come alongside children’s leaders
