Church Planter Among Filipino Refugees

Opportunity in Southeast Asia

Description

A Church Planting team member will teach and serve disadvantaged Filipino immigrants and refugees in Southeast Asia who struggle to navigate the society they live in. Using English teaching to build relationships, this person can work with thirteen unreached people groups who have had little access to the gospel. Friendships can also be built through creative arts, sports, and other avenues. This team member would be expected to spend one day a week teaching English as they pursue friendship evangelism. The duration of this role ranges from 2-3 years or longer.

Requirements

  • Actively shares the gospel and makes disciples
  • TESL Certification (online certification is accepted)
  • Heart to serve the disadvantaged
  • Courageous, friendly, flexible, self-starter and team player
  • Thrives in the heat
