Cross-cultural program developer and director

Description

Develop and direct an internship program targeting those who are seeking intensive mentoring and assessment for future cross-cultural gospel ministry in a Stateside international community setting including students (undergrads as well as graduates) adults, and working immigrants.  The programs would be customized to include those available for 3 months, 6 months, and 1 year.  Each intern’s learning experience would need to cover several areas: spiritual formation, cross-cultural competence and ministry, team building. team work, and special projects.  This is a complex ministry opportuity with far-reaching implications for the kingdom.  In order to understand it fully, a skype call would be optimal.

Requirements

At least a bachelor’s degree in relevant major preferred-Bible, Spiritual formation, Missions, etc.  Other majors are also welcome such as international studies, psychology/counseling, world history,business, organizational studies, leadership studies, TESOL, etc.  Experience is preferred with a history of lifestyle evangelism and discipleship, church planting experiences, ESL teaching, etc.  This job draws on campus ministry resources and staff, local church resources and staff, and univeristy staff.  It will be important to have the personaligy along with the gifting and ability to work well with people and to work cooperatively with teams and organizations.
