Doctors/Physician’s Assistants/Nurse Practitioners, Clinic

Opportunity in Chad

Description

TEAM’s work in this vast region of Chad seeks to establish an indigenous, culturally sensitive reproducing church of Jesus Christ through incarnational relationship building, community development, education, and healthcare programs.

The goal of medical outreach is to serve the core value of genuine, trusting relationships, which lead toward physically and spiritually transformed people, villages, and communities. We envision a multifaceted medical approach, including but not limited to: health/hygiene projects in schools and communities, mobile bush clinics, small fixed clinics with follow-up visits in homes, collaboration with national medical staff during outbreaks, and teaching/training of local physicians and nurses. A physician will also work alongside incoming short-term medical teams (dental, surgical, ophthalmology, etc.). In order to foster sustainability, we value discipling and training relationships. Currently, an experienced, TEAM-Chad missionary couple leads the entire initiative, while a physician oversees the medical component.

We seek more physicians inspired by this vision who desire to serve in one or all these capacities.

Job responsibilities will vary depending on qualifications.
