TEAM’s work in this vast region of Chad seeks to establish an indigenous, culturally sensitive reproducing church of Jesus Christ through incarnational relationship building, community development, education, and healthcare programs.
Chadians are very hard working and the vast majority are subsistence farmers or live from day to day. While the land is fertile, infrastructure, education, opportunity and resources are minimal. We seek someone experienced in micro-finance or business as mission to help the hard working, but poorly supported Chadians become independent and realize their God-given potential through work. We desire to accomplish this through incarnational, genuine relationships which transform people and communities from the inside, out. Potential projects include Moringa Powder production, “Plumpy-Nut” alternatives, and more.
Strong Biblical foundation.
Business degree or related field of study required.
Experience in your field.
Training in Muslim ministry will be helpful (but not required).
Willingness to live and work in a remote, underdeveloped region.
Vibrant and growing relationship with Christ and good prayer life.
At least a one year equivalency of Bible education.
Languages used in this region include Chadian Arabic and French; language learning would be required but level depends on specific ministry and length of service.
