A hospital training center connected to a busy rural hospital in South Asia is developing resource persons with various medical skills from the district to community level. The participants of this training are Doctors, Nurses, Medical Assistants, Health care providers, Village Health Volunteers, Community Facilitators from the local hospital, Outside Non-Government organizations, and individuals from Government organizations.
An experienced English teacher would equip the participants to better contribute at national and international forums. This role ranges from 9 months to 3+ years and provides the opportunity to partner with an international team of followers in one of the least reached locations in South Asia.
Bachelor’s degree required. Experience teaching ESL required. Must have the passion to serve the poorest of the poor and a willingness to work in a low-tech environment. Ability to live in rural and unpredictable conditions required. Must be resilient and adaptable and able to work on a multi-cultural and multi-denominational team.
