Health Ministry

Description:

As part of a team of medical professionals, you will share Jesus in word and health care. You are passionate about sharing Christ and discipleship and have the skills to serve the community with basic health care. May involve working in a mobile clinic, community health, or focus on one disease. Long Term Roles and specialties might include community nurse, community midwife, pediatric doctor, or general practitioner. The Dar Sila team is a made-up people from different backgrounds, serving with different skills, sharing the good news of Jesus Christ to the diverse peoples of the region. We are not focused on one linguistic group, but rather on one community, the residents of Dar Sila.

Requirements:

• Willing to live off-grid
• Serve in a medical context which requires autonomy, creative thinking, and a humble attitude
• Appropriate medical qualifications
• Willing to learn French or Arabic
• 1 year Biblical and Missiological training credits required before arrival on the field and ministry location
