This opportunity is with TEAMs ministry partner SAM (South America Mission), an evangelical and interdenominational mission organization with a vision to see the church of Jesus Christ multiplied across South America, transforming local communities and the world by embodying the kingdom of God. SAM works in five countries in South America: Brazil, Bolivia, Colombia, Peru and Paraguay. SAM’s missional emphases include incarnational living, reproducing authentic disciples of Jesus, multiplying churches and church networks, training Godly leaders and enabling transformational initiatives within the local church.
SCCLC is seeking a Jr. High and High School Spanish Teacher to begin immediately. SCCLC is a Pre-K thru 12th grade school following the American school system. At SCCLC, future leaders receive a comprehensive and multilingual Christian education that exceeds national and international academic standards, preparing its students spiritually, academically, and socially to transform their world. With less than 250 students, approx. 80% of whom are Bolivian nationals, SCCLC creates a relaxed and intimate educational environment, giving staff and faculty the opportunity to engage Bolivias next generation of leaders at a personal level, and affect substantive change in one of South Americas least developed nations.
Those serving at SCCLC will be fully integrated into SAMs team in Santa Cruz for encouragement and support. Beyond the walls of the school, SAM missionaries are engaged in church-planting and mission mobilization alongside the vibrant national-led churches of Santa Cruz. As such, SCCLCs missionary staff have opportunities to see and contribute to a wide variety of missional activity throughout Santa Cruz.
TEAM and SAM are very pleased to be working together to advance the Kingdom of God throughout South America. In this instance, interested parties may inquire and apply with TEAM or SAM, but will serve with SAM in Bolivia.
Junior and/or High school teaching certification and teaching experience recommended but not required. English proficiency required; Spanish language skills recommended.
