There are dozens of minority language groups in this country, and they need to hear the Good News as well! We need people who are not just willing to learn the national language, but excite to learn a second language as well! (And a third and fourth if you want!) People who speak languages well have an entree into relationships with people who speak them. It shows respect and concern for them. You’ll also be able to support other expatriates who are learning.
For visa purposes, it is necessary to have a “day job” alongside of this calling. We will work hard to find a position that is compatible with your ministry and allows you ample time to pursue it.
- Language school
- Commitment to ministry
- A bachelor’s degree is helpful, but not required
