Medical Professional

Opportunity in Chad

Description

In northern Chad, TEAM uses avenues such as literacy programs, water and agricultural projects, health programs, and education to establish a positive presence among the people.

A medical professional (nurse, nurse practitioner, or doctor) is needed in a town in the far north of Chad. You will work at the town hospital three days a week and then serve at the town Cultural Center two days a week. The goal of the center is to provide workers with a relevant and meaningful presence in the community as a platform for building relationships.

Experienced missionaries already in the town would serve as team leaders and ministry coaches. The town has a small airstrip.

Requirements

Qualified medical professional. No foreign language needed if the worker is coming short term (2-10 months). Otherwise either French or Arabic would be needed. An adventurous spirit is required.
