Description
Erickson Tritt Theological College in Papua, Indonesia serves students from many different tribal backgrounds as they seek to understand the Scriptures more deeply. Engaging classes equip students to be effective disciple makers, pastors, and church planters. These students are from various tribal backgrounds, so there is great potential to impact many different people groups through the students. Teaching is done in the national language, Indonesian.
Professors at ETTC are passionate about building up the church through theological education. They are committed to seeing national leaders equipped with excellent training and ministry preparation. Professors multiply their impact through investing in the future leaders of South East Asia.
A typical day includes teaching several small classes (10-30 students) taught in 2-3 hr blocks. The remaining time is spent in study, planning, grading, meeting with students, and in faculty meetings. While the primary role will be teaching, there are many other ministries in the area to be involved in if desired. The duration of this role is 3 years or more.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Theology, Bible, Christian Education, or related field
- Strong academic bent
- Strong language acquisition skills
- Heart for discipleship
