Refugee Ministry: Empowerment and Justice

Do you care for the marginalized and displaced? Do you want to serve a refugee population who fled the Darfur conflict and still don’t have a place that they can call their home? The refugee population suffers from injustice and marginalization, how will you respond? Do you have Jesus’ heart for refugees? You will share Jesus in word and deed, serving the refugees with whatever skills you have to show them our Lord’s love. The Dar Sila team is a made-up people from different backgrounds, serving with different skills, sharing the good news of Jesus Christ to the diverse peoples of the region. We are not focused on one linguistic group, but rather on one community, the residents of Dar Sila.

Requirements:

• 1 year Biblical and missiological training credits
• Willing to learn French and Arabic
