Opportunity in South America

Description of Position

This opportunity is with TEAM’s ministry partner SAM (South America Mission), an evangelical and interdenominational mission organization with a vision to see the church of Jesus Christ multiplied across South America, transforming local communities and the world by embodying the kingdom of God. SAM works in five countries in South America: Brazil, Bolivia, Colombia, Peru, and Paraguay. SAM’s missional emphases include incarnational living, reproducing authentic disciples of Jesus, multiplying churches and church networks, training Godly leaders and enabling transformational initiatives within the local church.
CIET (the Center for Applied Theological Studies) is an Evangelical training center/seminary in Santa Cruz, Bolivia which trains pastors and preachers in theological studies and methodology for church leadership. CIET was founded by South America Mission and the Association of Evangelical Churches in Santa Cruz.

Seminary teachers are needed to teach theological coursework and to disciple/mentor CIET students and candidates. Working at CIET is in conjunction and partnership with the Church Association, and seminary teachers work underneath local Bolivian leadership. The duration of this role is for 3 years or more.

Requirements for Position

Seminary degree is required
Teaching experience preferred but not required
