A team reaching an under-engaged Muslim tribal group (the “Silk Road” people) is looking for resilient medical professionals to join their team. There is an acute need for improving medical skills, knowledge, and services in an area of the world with overwhelming health needs.

This opportunity is well-suited for experienced medical professionals – nurses, doctors, pharmacists, midwives, physical therapists, etc. You would be joining a growing number of young people who are feeling God’s call to reach these people by serving them in their communities. With your professional skills, you would be able to get a visa and make a real contribution to the local community.

You would first spend a year learning the Silk Road language in the capital city, and then continue to work alongside local medical workers training, teaching and mentoring them in your area of expertise, as part of a medical/educational consulting agency.

Requirements:

• A strong call for the least reached
• A love of language and cross-cultural relationships
• Tolerance for ambiguity and uncertainty
• A professional medical degree with at least two years of experience
