Teacher trainer needed for the Female Teacher Training Program (FTEP) in Central Asia. The program aims to train village girls from the districts, so that they can work as professional and qualified teachers in their villages. The program conducts its two-year long training in a residential facility in the city and then supports the teachers on-the-job in the villages for the next two years. The program is currently in its third year; it follows an innovative model and the project should therefore still be considered a pilot program. If successful, we are looking to expand the program within this province and beyond. We have opportunities for trainers to come long term and contribute to develop a program that will benefit the quality of education in rural areas, especially for girls. We need qualified trainers and also curriculum- and program developers in order to expand and strengthen the program.
A bachelor´s degree in Education is requested for trainers or developers who want to join the program. They should also be supported through a sending agency.
