Description
Young, energetic people who can connect with students, mainly college age, to evangelize and disciple them and help them get plugged into the local body of believers.
Specific tasks:
- Engage with students through activities such as sports, hang-out time, large group meetings, summer camps, and other activities such as hiking, biking, music, etc.
- Lead and participate in evangelistic events and activities
- Discipleship and mentoring through small groups or one-on-one
- Building relationships and displaying a Christ-centered life
- Working with the national church to provide long term discipleship solutions among students
Requirements
- Heart for the glory of God to penetrate the unreached youth
- Commitment to the power of God’s Word to transform lives
- Passion to make global followers of Christ who will get plugged into a local body of believers and spread the gospel to their generation
- Be a team player with missionaries and nationals
- Humility to work behind the scenes and empower and encourage others to lead
- Spanish needed (can be learned after arrival)
