Youth Pastor/Youth Group Coordinator

Description:

Facilitate collaboration between the youth leadership team, parents, and local churches to keep the group running smoothing.  This is a group that cooperates with but is distinct from the various Christian churches in Antalya.  Its purpose it to create a community for pre-teen and teen third-culture kids to grow in their relationships with God and one another.

Responsibilities would include the following:

• Acting as a regular chaperone for events
• Discipling and empowering youth leaders
• Communicating with parents and other adult volunteers
• Collaborating with local pastors and other community leaders
• Upholding policies in accordance with purposes of Refuge

Requirements:

• Christian
• Bible training
• Background check
• Fluent in English
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Competency with MailChimp and Google Drive/Calendar
• Willingness to work with other believers across different denominations
• Experience living cross-culturally or work with TCKs is preferred
• A degree in youth ministry or education is also preferred but not required
