I am a Christ-loving, movie fanatic and my friends would say a little bit of a sports nut. I have the fortune of being married to an amazing woman whom has blessed me with three amazing girls. I grew up north of Atlanta, Georgia going to school locally for both grade school and college. I attended Toccoa Falls College in which I earned a B.A. in Business Administration and a double minor in Coaching as well as Biblical Studies.
After graduation, my wife and I pursued coaching sports in college for several years before our first daughter was born. At that point, God was already working in my life in which He began planting the seeds for international ministry. Upon leaving the coaching profession I began working in a family-run insurance business in which I soon took over as the President within several years. Four years ago I purchased that business and have grown the business from there. It has been a great opportunity to work with teams of people and interact with people that may not know God or His grace.
Later I took my second missions trip with my wife to the Dominican Republic. Our church, The Bridge Church, was working there in conjunction with a member that was doing work through FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes). At that point in my life, God gave me His very clear calling to pursue becoming a full-time missionary to South America. Little did I know Angel, my wife, had been praying for that the previous 14 years! God works in cool ways!

We are working with professionals and their families to develop leaders and new Christians in partnership with a Colombian couple here in the northern part of Barranquilla, Colombia. We are creating a ‘co-working space’ environment that can reach that professional demographic and house our church plant. God gave us this awesome vision for this and we are excited about the opportunity. Other ministry opportunities will be basketball ministry for kids and teens, marriage mentoring for couples all around the city.
Barranquilla is a cosmopolitan and primarily industrial city, often visited by businessmen of all nationalities. Residents are known as “Barranquilleros” and are characterized by their outgoing and friendly attitude and relaxed behavior. This makes the average Barranquilla resident an optimistic and open individual, as well as goal-directed and hard-working. Largely a nominal Catholic region, Barranquilla is quite receptive to the Gospel and what our family is doing here in Colombia.
Primary Prayer Request:
1. That God will bring us closer to Him in this faith exercise as we continue ministry work here in Barranquilla, Colombia.
2. Please be praying for our fundraising efforts and God will continue to bring people into our lives that have a heart for our ministry.
3. For our 3 girls that they can flourish in Colombia with making friends and their schooling.
4. Please pray for our marriage as missions work can always be difficult on relationships, especially those closest to us.
