God has been working in my life for a long time, preparing me to be willing to leave my home to follow him. Growing up I loved missionary stories but I wanted to pursue a comfortable life in America. In 2018 he clearly moved me into a position to answer his call to follow him to the ends of the earth. I had decided to make a career change and was seeking God’s leading when I was convicted that I needed to be more involved in ministry. Through a series of events, God led me to a small church where I was pushed out of my comfort zone and into outreach ministries. Soon after I was presented with the opportunity to spend a month serving overseas where I became convinced that God was leading me into full-time ministry overseas to the unreached peoples of the world.
I will be based in New Zealand studying at East-West College in a diverse setting while serving the local church there, as well as researching unreached people groups in Asia and exploring long-term opportunities for ministry in South East Asia through onsite visits and internships.
Peace in this transition and that I would be humble and teachable.
