Brandon and Hannah Muncy

My Story

Hi! We are Brandon and Hannah!

We are mid-term missionaries, currently living in La Paz, Mexico and working at Rancho El Camino, a TEAM Ministry Initiative that serves children and families through recreational ministries, community development initiatives, and training/mentoring programs.

The two of us met in 2014 in Oshkosh, WI, leading youth ministry together. We were married in August 2016, and shortly after we moved to Carol Stream, IL for Brandon’s job at an overhead crane company. We had no idea TEAM existed at that point. Before meeting each other, God had put missions on both our hearts, and we were waiting on Him to learn when and where we might serve. Six months into marriage and living in Carol Stream, God began to stir Brandon’s heart toward pursuing missions. Within a couple months, God gave Hannah a unified heart as well, and as we talked with people we knew about it, we were connected by a dear friend with a TEAM missions coach.

With Brandon’s passion for Latin culture and the Spanish language, and both of us having a love of the outdoors, working with our hands, and discipling young people, God made it clear to us and to the Ranch that we would be a good fit there. The Lord graciously called partners who provided the financial support we needed in nine months’ time, and we arrived in La Paz on June 18th, 2019.

Our roles at the Ranch include Brandon teaching four teens at Ranch Escuela, Hannah helping with programming for Kids’ Clubs, classes in our local community centers, and summer camp, and lots of raking horse poo, assisting with building projects, and chasing cows away from the Ranch. We feel blessed to serve and to see the hand of God at work here in Mexico. Our commitment in La Paz is until June 2021, and we are seeking the Lord as to what may come then.

Blessings and thank you for visiting our page!
