I accepted Jesus at a young age and was Baptized publicly at age 12 declaring Him as the Lord of my life. Ever since then I have been involved in different ministries, gone to Bible School, got married had kids, worked a lot of different jobs and surrendered my life to full time ministry. After spending the last 15 years focused on pastoral ministry in Canada, the Lord is now sending us to reach out to the Irish people in the Republic of Ireland.
I became a believer in Jesus Christ at 16 years old on Easter 1985, and was baptized that same August. I soon felt the call to missions but “life got in the way”. I married Bruce in 1989 which was soon followed by the arrival of our sons Brett (1990) and Brody (1992). I have never regretted getting married young and having a family but now that our children are grown and getting established on their own, that call has returned and is pushing me forward in active obedience. Bruce answered God’s call as a pastor 15 years ago and we I have served in a variety of ways which has moved us across our great country through 4 provinces and now back to BC again. We are currently residing in Penticton while we find partners and supporters for us to go to Ireland with TEAM.

My ministry focus is made up of 4 parts.
1. Connect – Connect with the Lost so that they can hear about Jesus
2. Serve – Serve the Irish people, in the Church & outside of it, to show Jesus Love for them
3. Disciple – Sharing and teaching the Truth of the Biblical Gospel as we walk together in this life
4. Lead – Leaders are to be developed and encouraged so that the local Church can function and flourish in the mission we have been given by Jesus the Head of His Church.
These 4 areas flow into one another and also move side by side each other. As the Lord connects us with people we will aim to help them be everything He has created them to be.
For many years Christianity has been in decline in Ireland. Even the Roman Catholics admit that attendance at mass has dropped below 14%. Less than 1% of the Irish people have a living relationship with Jesus. According to Ireland stats in 2014, 84% of the population of over 4.5 million people are Catholic. Less than 1% are evangelical believers with the highest growth rates being in immigrant people. Sadly the ‘indigenous’ Irish are growing increasingly atheist or of ‘no religion’. There has been growth over the last generation in Atheism, Druidism and those who just claim no beliefs at all. along with this has been a rise in drug abuse, depression and suicide. Our burden is for the young Irish generation who are walking this dark path. The Irish people need Hope and true Hope can only be found through Jesus.
Primary Prayer Request:
Please pray for the Irish people, that their hearts would be soft to the Gospel. Pray for those Christians and Churches that are in the Republic preaching the Gospel, ask for God to grant them boldness in their witness. Pray for us as we prepare to go and join this ministry, that we would not be distracted from the importance of the Gospel mission.
