My wife and I are TEAM missionaries currently living and working in Japan. I grew up as a TEAM missionary kid in Japan and lived here for 16 years. Through this experience, I developed a heart for Japan and its people. Upon graduation from high school in Kobe, Japan, I attended university in the United States, earning a BA in Intercultural Studies and Bible from Grace University in Omaha, Nebraska. My work background has been as a bilingual analyst for a measurement diagnostic company in Omaha. My goal is to use my bilingual business skills in ministry in Japan.
Beth Anne's Story
My husband and I are TEAM missionaries currently living and working in Japan. While studying for my English degree, I traveled to Japan as a part of TEAM Serve on a short-term missions trip in the summer of 2006. There I taught English classes at Agape Bible Church in Kobe, Japan. During that time, God placed on my heart a desire to return to Japan and use my skills as an English language teacher.

We have a passion for business as missions (BAM) and a vision to start a language translation and tutoring center in Japan as a way to reach out to the Japanese community, especially to businessmen and students. Our hope is that through this initiative we will be able to share the love of Christ with people and connect them with a local church.
Primary Prayer Request:
1.) For peace and patience as we adjust to living in Japan.
2.) For grace and perseverance learning the language and skills needed to further God’s ministry in Japan.
3.) For God’s provision and strengthening of positive relationships with supporters and church partners.
