Justin grew up in Mexico City as a missionary kid. Those experiences obviously began to shape his understanding of missions. He made a commitment to Christ when he was 4 years old and has been following him ever since.
In 2007 Justin graduated from Moody Bible Institute and took a position as a youth pastor in the Chicago Suburbs. He married his wife, Jenny, in the spring of 2008. Jenny finished up her teaching degree and began to teach Spanish in the Chicago suburbs as well. God continued to create within them a holy discomfort that would eventually lead them to committing to full-time missions. Their call became clear when they visited the Guatemala City.
I grew up in northeast Ohio as a sports lover and Jesus-follower. God blessed me with a wonderful, Christian family where I was exposed to the love of Jesus at an early age. At the age of 7, I made a decision to trust Jesus as my Savior and this has affected my life ever since.
While in high school, the Lord gave me a unique desire and ability to learn Spanish. By that point, I had never even been outside of the United States! I continued learning Spanish and the Lord continued to increase my desire and longing to work with Hispanics, their culture and their language. I loved everything about it.
Due to my love for Spanish, I decided to study Spanish at Mount Union College in Alliance, OH where I received my B.A. in Spanish. During that time, I was able to study abroad in Mexico City for a semester. I had the awesome opportunity to spend that time with a missionary couple there who ended up deeply affecting my life and deepening my desire to become a missionary. After college, I taught Spanish for 3 years in the Chicagoland area.
My husband and I have had many opportunities to travel in Latin America since we have been married and are anxious to work and serve the Lord in Latin America in the upcoming years.

Justin's Ministry Focus:
My wife, Jenny, and I are planting churches in the Guatemala City. With a team of Guatemalans we have planted Iglesia Reforma. I also have the opportunity to serve as the Senior Director for Mexico and Central America.
Jenny's Ministry Focus:
I have always loved teaching and taught high school Spanish in the states before moving to Guatemala. I am a teacher through and through but my ministry focus changed from teaching to a mother role 2 years ago when my daughter, Isabella was born. I still teach English twice a week but my primary ministry focus is my daughter (and our soon to be daughter #2).
I also am involved in discipleship and women’s Bible studies.
