My Story

I was born in St. Louis Missouri but grew up as a missionary kid in Baja California, Mexico. I traveled to Guatemala for the first time in 2007 and prayed for the day that God would send me back. Not only did He send me back in 2014, but He sent me back with my dream girl, Jennifer. We are blessed with two beautiful daughters, and our first son is on the way.

Ministry Focus:

Jennifer and I devote 70% of our ministry time to church-based orphan care. Our role in church-based orphan care consists of educating, equipping, and mobilizing the local church in Guatemala to care for the orphan. We walk with churches to develop orphan care ministries amongst their congregations. The other 30% is used in mentoring children living in orphanages, volunteering our time in local orphanages, and further educating ourselves on how we can best serve not just the orphan, but also the local church in Guatemala.

Primary Prayer Request:

Pray for our safety. That God will continue to watch over our family as we daily engulf ourselves into a culture that will always remain unfamiliar to us in some way, shape, or form. Pray for our hearts. That God will continuously guard them and keep our motives pure. Pray for our mission. That the church in Guatemala will answer the call that God has given them to care for their neighbor, the orphan, and widow.
