Looking back on the journey that has led me to this point, it is so evident that every experience, relationship, and even trial was so purposefully placed in my life to cultivate my heart for my purpose. Early on in my faith, God placed some wonderful leaders, teachers, and mentors in my life. They poured into my life and invested in me so significantly that my pursuit became the same. During my summers in college I was able to work as a camp counselor at a Christian camp in North Carolina. There I grew in my relationship with the Lord as I was given the opportunity to be discipled while discipling others. After completing my degree in Music Education, God made a way for me to teach music at the Evangelical Christian Academy in Spain. Each day I became more and more aware of my desire to make disciples. After three years there, I decided to become better equipped to fulfill this calling, so I moved to Chicago to pursue my Masters in Spiritual Formation & Discipleship at Moody Theological Seminary. God has called me back to Spain to serve in a new capacity with the sole focus of pointing students towards Christ. God has so lovingly affirmed this calling and I know He goes before me. This is why prayer is for my students to understand the cost of discipleship and still, with obedient hearts, follow Him.
